Welcome to Mires Beck Nursery one of Yorkshire's leading suppliers of wildflowers and cottage garden perennials.
Mires Beck Nursery started over 20 years ago as a small nursery specialising in the production of wildflowers of Yorkshire provenance. Over the years the nursery has continued to grow steadily, developing the range of plants produced. We now grow:
Wildflowers of Yorkshire Provenance: Over 160 species are grown including ones suitable for meadows, woodland, hedgerows and pond edge (marginals)
Cottage Garden Perennials: We produce more than 250 different varieties, including most of the traditional favourites such as Hemerocallis, Campanulas, Hostas, Hardy Geraniums, Astilbes, and quite a few not so well known ones, Epimediums, Veronicastrums and many more.
Shrubs: We started producing a small range of shrubs in 2008. They associate well with to our range of cottage garden perennials. We plan to increase this rage over the coming years.
Herbs: We have 30 varieties, including a good range of mints, thymes, and sage.
