1 Aug – Driffield Show Blog

We recently exhibited at the Driffield Show [and although the weather was appalling!!]the staff and trainees all had a fantastic day.

All the hard work put in by everyone paid off when we were awarded a Large Gold Medal for the third year in a row.
We are all delighted to also have the Silver Belcher Cup for ‘Best in Show’, these are being proudly displayed at the nursery for all to enjoy.

The time has come now to start getting ready for the next show, being Harrogate in September, so all hands will be on deck preparing for that.
Fingers crossed, we will bring back a medal from the Harrogate Show too – Watch this space!

Woodcarving Course - Success

Over the past 3 weekends we have held a woodcarving course at the nursery will Allen Stichler – you may have seen Allen’s wonderful work at the nursery on our open day.

The course was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and some great work has been produced; there will be further courses in the coming months – information and dates will be added to the blog when arranged.

Harrogate Show Success!

Once again everyone on the nursery has been very busy preparing for the Harrogate show - which took place last weekend.

The display looked fantastic- A picture will be uploaded to the blog soon.

We are proud to announce that we were gained a silver award and plant sales were very good too!
