Mires Beck’s 14-acre horticultural nursery and woodland will play host to a Humber Coast and Vale, Green Social Prescribing funded project, to deliver a twelve-month art programme focusing on nature and the benefits of creative study in green spaces.
Starting in April, our sessions will take place each Saturday and will be facilitated by two established local East Yorkshire artists. We will use the site and its nature bounty to help the students engage with the natural world. The programme has been designed in partnership with a group of international artists who are studying environmental art and their spokesman has designed a YouTube series for the classes.
