Our herb team grow and produce 50 varieties of herbs for the kitchen and the garden. Most can be used for culinary purposes, some are more for decorative uses. During the Spring and Summer we grow tender herbs such as Basil and similar annual species. Herbs are grown in 9cm pots £1.75 each and 2 litre pots £4.50 each.
We have lots of information about the herbs we grow and their uses, so please ask a member of the sales team if you need any assistance. The Friends of Mires Beck have produced a Herb Recipe Book including many of the varieties grown at the nursery for sale in the retail hut.
Shrubs are an important element in a garden providing year round interest and structure.
They can be planted alone or in a mixed border as a backdrop to other plants. We have chosen a range of shrubs to suite different sizes and styles of garden as well as a variety of foliage, flowers, fruits and stems.
