National Picnic Week at Mires Beck
National Picnic Week is a chance to grab our blankets and baskets, and enjoy the sunshine on fresh green grass.
The concept of a 'picnic' came from France, however us British love our picnics as well! Having a picnic is a great way to spend time with your family or friends, and enjoying activities, such as playing rounders or reading a good book, in the great outdoors.
At Mires Beck Nursery, provisionally, starting 23rd July, every Friday night for 4 weeks, we are hoping to host a picnic evening with live music! So grab your blankets, baskets, and special treats, and come join us on site at our nursery when it's safe to do so!
Our service users love cooking and making food in our Mires Beck kitchen, and they love the idea of having a picnic with all of us. Please donate to our charity to allow us to buy more food and blankets for our service users to enjoy relaxing in the outdoors.
All projects require fundraising and we are always looking for new sponsors and volunteers to help us realise the future aspirations to maintain the charity and help it to thrive. If you would like to help please contact us.
