World Wellbeing Week at Mires Beck

World Wellbeing Week is the chance to spread awareness for the aspects of wellbeing. This includes physical, emotional, social, financial, environmental, career, and community wellbeing.

World Wellbeing Week gives recognition to the people who try to improve people's wellbeings, including in social care organisations, such as Mires Beck Nursery.

This week was created in Jersey, Channel Islands in 2019, and is now a well-known international event! This year, the theme is the 'Year of Wellbeing'.
At Mires Beck, we will be showcasing how much our work at our horticultural nursery benefits our service users' wellbeing by showing videos and photos of them working. Please look out for them on our YouTube and Facebook.
Mires Beck is a calm, active, outdoor environment, where our service users and volunteers connect with each other while working. They all learn new skills and facts about their roles. With Mires Beck being a 14 acre site, they have a large variety of wildlife to see and hear.

We are also working to become a partner for Green Social Prescribing and already we have volunteers working with us who are receiving the benefits of being out in nature and fresh air.

You could help us by donating to our charity, to help us afford more wellbeing support to our service users.
All projects require fundraising and we are always looking for new sponsors and volunteers to help us realise the future aspirations to maintain the charity and help it to thrive. If you would like to help please contact us.
