Easter at Mires Beck
Easter is a fun, colourful time of the year to do Easter egg hunts, eat lots of chocolate, have a big feast and spend lots of time with family.
Christians celebrate Easter Sunday as a celebration of Jesus Christ ressurecting from the dead. Some Christians refer to the week before Easter as "Holy Week", which includes Maundy Thursday (remembering the Last Supper), and Good Friday (remembering the death of Jesus Christ).
At Mires Beck Nursery, we feel that Easter signifies new life and new opportunities, and we are so grateful that our service users are coming back onto our site.
We understand that a lot of families have not been able to see each other during lockdown, and our hearts reach out to them.
Therefore, we will not be holding an event for Easter this year, as we respect that families want to reunite, and we wish everyone a happy reunitement!
