Electronic Greetings Day at Mires Beck

In the late 1990s, people sent out e-cards when everyone was just starting to have a personal computer in their homes, and everyone was so excited to get an e-card in their email.

Nowadays, Facebook has stickers, Snapchat has snaps, but the concept of these greetings haven't changed.

The guess is that Electronic Greetings Day was started by the websites that sell e-cards, which may have created this day between late 1990s and mid-2000s.
We at Mires Beck think it's very important to celebrate this day this year, because a lot of us in the UK have been unable to see our family and friends, and this day is a great chance to send a lovely greeting to your Mum, Dad, sibling, friend, and anyone else who is close to you, who needs an e-hug.
All projects require fundraising and we are always looking for new sponsors and volunteers to help us realise the future aspirations to maintain the charity and help it to thrive. If you would like to help please contact us.
