Great Daffodil Appeal at Mires Beck

The Great Daffodil Appeal is an annual fundraising campaign for Marie Curie, which is a charity that provides support and care to people who have terminal illnesses, while also looking after their families. Every year in March, millions of people donate money to this appeal and wear a Daffodil pin. Money raised through the appeal helps the Marie Curie foundation provide free care and support to people with terminal illnesses, and their families.

This year, the theme for this appeal is to give care to those dying of COVID-19, and give support to their families.
So we at Mires Beck Nursery are donating the retail value of 21 seed bombs to the Marie Curie charity, and will be scattering them around the trees in the retail area as a COVID-19 memorial.
We will also be selling more of our Daffodils: Tete-a-tete, Thalia, and Minnows.

Please fundraise for this cause, and make sure your donations go to mariecurie.org.uk/donate
All projects require fundraising and we are always looking for new sponsors and volunteers to help us realise the future aspirations to maintain the charity and help it to thrive. If you would like to help please contact us.
