Lucy (Communications and Marketing Apprentice)

Lucy is our Communications and Marketing Apprentice, who has been working here for 1 year now.

The reason she is doing this digital engagement apprenticeship is to gain practical experience to help her follow her passion to work in conservation because she is passionate about conserving our rivers, lakes and oceans. Lucy's dream is to someday have a career in Marine Conservation where she engages people about why it is so important to look after the environment around us and spread awareness.

Lucy is originally from Norfolk, where she volunteered at Pensthorpe Natural Park (reserve), and the Norfolk Rivers Trust. She moved to Hull to complete an internship with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, and found her love for engagement, where she then came to us to do an apprenticeship in a slight career change.
(The video series is filmed in a natural environment where recording will pick up natural sound at the nursery)
All projects require fundraising and we are always looking for new sponsors and volunteers to help us realise the future aspirations to maintain the charity and help it to thrive. If you would like to help please contact us.
