The Benefits of Our Green Therapy
Mires Beck has an incredible affect on our service users, as our 14 acres of land is surrounded by wonderful wildlife and nature. As we are deep in the countryside of rural North Cave, it is such a peaceful place to work with our colleagues and teams. Please read what our service users think of our charity below.
Debbie finds it difficult to understand instructions and different situations, but Mires Beck has offered structure and distraction for her.
Mark struggles to socialise in the community, however working at Mires Beck in a team has encouraged him to work with his peers and improve on his social skills. He is always smiling with his friends at Mires Beck.
Nathan has greatly improved as he has been introduced to a workplace where he has learnt to understand the rules of working with other people in a team, and has become calmer.
This service user struggles with being unsteady. They have the determination to attempt all tasks and the team adapts to meet their needs.
Jonathan finds fiddly tasks difficult, but with great encouragement from the nursery, he feels a great sense of achievement!
